Hola madridistas!
This is the first issue of the “Daily Merengue”. We, the mods (Valyrian Steel, felipejack and myself) will post a daily open thread, where we can discuss anything and everything related to Los Blancos and football in general.
Every issue will have a few short stories, but the main point of the Daily Merengue is to be an open thread for all of us!
La Liga is back
La Liga kicked off during the weekend with 7 games. Madridistas around the world will have to wait a little longer to see the team in action, as Real Madrid are playing their first game this Sunday, facing Real Sociedad away. There where some great games during the opening weekend, with the Derbi valenciano arguably being the most fun to watch. Valencia won 4-2 over Levante, kick-starting their season with a win.
In other games, Takefusa Kubo got his first official minutes as a Villareal-player. He was subbed on after 77 minutes as Villareal drew 1-1 with newly promoted Huesca.

According to reports, Kylian Mbappe has told Paris Saint-Germain that he wants to leave in 2021. The Frenchman’s contract expires in 2022, and if he does not agree to a new deal, PSG might loose him for free in 2022. You can read Lucas Navarettes report here:
