Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale would be keen on a loan move to Manchester United before the transfer deadline, according to a report published on British newspaper The Times. The clubs would still need to agree terms about Bale’s contract, as the Welshman still wants to earn as much money as his current deal with Madrid indicates.
While Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett said that they were not considering a loan move away from Madrid, it now seems to be the only way for him to leave Real while still earning his salary.
United want to improve their offensive line after Dortmund’s refusal to sell Jadon Sancho and Bale could be a cheap option for them. His value and reputation in the Premier League is still decent and it definitely seems that Manchester United would be a fine option for him to resume his career.
However, it won’t be easy for the two clubs to reach an agreement about Bale’s salary, so this report should be taken with a grain of salt.
