Lucas Vazquez has rejected a lucrative offer from Qatar, according to a report from Spanish radio station, El Laguero.
The Galician winger, a player who has spent the past five seasons at the club, has no intention of leaving the Spanish capital. Despite a strong economic offer from a club in Qatar, Lucas Vazquez has always felt important under Zidane. With one year remaining on his current contract, the winger will be working with the sole intention of convincing the club and his manager that he is worthy of another renewal.
Competiton for places will be fierce. On the right wing alone, Vazquez will compete with Rodrygo, a now fit again Asensio, potentially Ødegaard, and Isco — who can fill that spot with his diamond position. Minutes may be hard to come by, but Vazquez is a solider of the club and will look to take advantage of any opportunities that come his way.
