Real Madrid are reportedly signing 15-year-old Adam Arvelo from Villarreal, according to AS.
The youngster, who primarily plays as a winger, is set to join Cadete A under coach Tristán Celador. Arvelo is also a Spanish international and has spent time with Spain’s U-15 side.
He joined Villarreal’s youth system three seasons ago after spending his initial years with Tenerife and Candelaria. Now, he begins his career with La Fábrica and will get experience with one of world football’s elite youth systems.
AS’ report says that Barcelona were also interested in Arvelo joining La Masia as were two other English youth systems, however Real were the ones who have landed him.
This is just the beginning for the young winger at Real Madrid. He has a ways to go before he works his way through the youth system and hopefully gets his chance with Castilla in the future. He is a reportedly promising talent.
Even though this is just the start, it’s always interesting to watch a young talent join the club and work his way up the ranks of the system. We will hopefully become more familiar with his name and skill as he grows in his career as a footballer.
