Real Madrid victorious in first (and only) friendly.

In a game shrouded in secrecy, Real Madrid (apparently) won the game against Getafe 6-0. Benzema reportedly scored four goals in the first half, in a game that saw both teams make a lot of changes at half-time. According to Marca, Zidane fielded two completely different lineups in each half, with academy-players Marvin and Arribas (who also scored a goal) starting the first half and Blanco and M.Gutierrez starting the second.

Spurs swooping in.

In a summer where Reguilón and Bale have been the center of their own transfer-sagas, it now seems that their paths will end up in the same place. According to multiple reports from both Spain and outside of Spain, Tottenham is in talks to sign both of the players, with Barnett (Bales agent) confirming there is ongoing talks. Reguilón was allegedly close to signing for Manchester United, but with United not keen on including a buyback; it now seems Tottenham are close to signing the left back. There is still a lot left of this window, but these stories seem to have at least some truth to them.

ICYMI: Lautaro Martinez is *not* on the move.

Lautaro’s agent Beto Yaque has dismissed reports that the striker would be coming to Madrid. According to the agent, he will not leave Italy this summer. You can read more in Lucas Navarretes story here
