Real Madrid Femenino had multiple announcements on September 16th, signifying that women’s football is back and ready to kick off in the Spanish capital.
The first bit of news was the official squad numbers. Notably, new signings Olga Carmona and Marta Cardona were given the number 7 and 11 shirts, respectively, likely indicating their importance to the revamped side.

Real Madrid will open the season hosting FC Barcelona on October 4 and will travel to the Catalan capital on January 1. Real Madrid will host the first Derbi Madrileña on December 9 and will travel to the Centro Deportivo Wanda Alcalá de Henares on March 14.
