Brazil coach, Tite, released his latest squad list for the upcoming World Cup Qualifying matches vs Boliva and Peru in early October. Of the five Brazilians in Madrid’s squad, two made the list: Casemiro and Rodrygo Goes. The latter, still just a teenager, was given some resounding praise when Tite was asked about the winger in his post-selection press conference.

“When Real Madrid was playing the most important game of the season, against Manchester City, away from home, Zidane started Rodrygo. That says a lot about what he thinks of him. Opportunities will continue to arise. It is like that with his talent,” the manager explained.

Tite went on continuing to praise the young Brazilian, “Rodrygo has such quality that, when you see him play, you get the impression that playing football is something easy. He has a highly developed technique, a technique that has been developed many years in Brazil. He is beginning to conquer and find his place at Madrid.”

“Rodrygo makes the pitch wider, opens up spaces, and creates holes for his teammates. He is a modern and versatile player, who offers more alternatives for the coaching staff. He is developing well in Madrid, mainly in 1 on 1 situations - he is very strong in that department,” he concluded.

Rodrygo will have the chance to impress again with four La Liga games prior to heading off for international duty. Those games include matches vs Real Sociedad, Real Betis, Levante, and Real Valladolid.
