There is not a whole lot to report from today’s training session — the third of the week already — from Real Madrid City.
The main takeaway: Zinedine Zidane has upped the tempo. These preseason training sessions are generally more intense physically than the ones in the regular season, and today, Real Madrid went to another gear with regards to increasing the intensity of the physical exercises. After the fitness drills, the team worked on ball control exercises.
No further squad updates today either. Mariano Diaz continued to train indoors, and the goalkeepers trained separately.
To confirm one of the most predictable outcomes ever, Real Madrid have now sold Alberto Soro for the same fee they bought him in for. He didn’t sport the badge a single time, not even for a presentation or training. Strong contender for one of football’s most pointless moves? ♂️ https://t.co/5ZohZzfy3w— Real Madrid Castilla Stats (@CastillaStats) September 1, 2020
