Arancha Rodriguez reported today that Brahim Diaz is already in Milan, and that the deal to get him to AC Milan will be a one year loan deal without an option to buy.

This report differs slightly from Fabrizio Romano’s on August 31st, which indicates that there will be a buy option for Milan, and further a buy-back clause for Real Madrid.

Either way, Brahim is basically a player of AC Milan for the 2020 - 2021 season. We’re just waiting to hear the details that ensue.

In all seriousness, going back to Arsenal is the right move. Arteta loves Dani and he really developed nicely in the last few months of the season. Glad it's just a loan.
