La Liga is back!

Today is a day many of us have waited for. Real Madrid will return to competitive action with against Real Sociedad later today. There is a lot of content you can read through on the site to get hyped up for the game, and as with every game, users will follow the game here on the site. I especially invite new users to join us here on the site. With Hazard, Isco and Asensio missing through injury, it will be interesting to see how Los Blancos will line up. Vinicius and Rodrygo on the flanks, a diamond with Isco? Will Odegaard get a start against his former club? Feel free to discuss your predictions in the comments!

Bale+Reguilon saga ends…for now

After a lot of waiting, we finally got an end to the transfer sagas for Bale and Reguilon. Spurs issued official statements regarding both deals, while Real Madrid also issued statements wishingin them both good luck. Although Bales deal is only a loan for one season, so we will see what kind of saga we get to “enjoy” next summer.

Madridistas: A thank you

This is the first week of us mods doing the open thread. It warms a Madridistas and active MM-users heart to see how much you have enjoyed the open thread, how active you have been commenting on the thread (and other posts on the site as well) and the interesting topics you have brought up. We, the mods, are modding and doing this open thread for the “love of the game”, and it is extremely great to hear that we can help to make your experience on the site an even nicer experience. Especially as we do this on our own free time. We also read your feedback and thank you for it. Keep up the good work Madridstas!
