Real Madrid have confirmed the extend of the injury picked up by Toni Kroos during the team’s 2-3 win against Betis. Kroos was forced to leave the game before the halftime whistle.
Following tests carried out today on our player, Toni Kroos, by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscular injury to the left gluteus medius. His recovery will continue to be assessed.
This is good news for Real Madrid, as Kroos will be out for around two weeks, missing only the next two games against Real Valladolid and Levante. The upcoming FIFA break after those two matches will also give Kroos time to recover properly and be ready for what’s set to be an important month of October for Los Blancos.
Fede Valverde and Luka Modric will likely be the players replacing Kroos in Madrid’s starting lineup, with Casemiro being the defensive midfieldfer.
