Real Madrid have decided to send Luka Jovic on a loan deal, according to a report from AS. Coach Zinedine Zidane approves the decision and AS Roma, Inter Milan and AC Milan are the three most likely destinations for the Serbian attacker, who will leave Madrid trying to continue his development while finding relevant minutes.

Madrid will have to find Jovic a new club in less than a week, given that the transfer deadline for European leagues is scheduled for this upcoming Sunday. Apparently, Roma have the edge to complete the loan deal for the attacker, per that same report.

In fact, Roma were also close to signing Real Madrid’s Borja Mayoral, who will now stay in the club as Karim Benzema’s backup this season. Mayoral’s contract with Madrid expires next summer and it will be interesting to see if the decision to send Jovic on loan actually affects Mayoral’s contract situation.

Jovic turns 23 years old this December and will hope to get the minutes he needs to keep developing as a player.
