Today marked the last training session before Real Madrid’s mid-week clash against Valladolid on Wednesday night — a game which will mark Real’s first home game of the season at Estadio Alfredo di Stefano.
Today’s session began with rondos and possession drills. Zinedine Zidane then moved the team into intense physical drills and scrimmages on reduced-sized pitches. The session concluded with finishing drills
Everyone trained normally apart from three players: Eder Militao, Toni Kroos, and Mariano Diaz. Militao worked out on the grass outside, as well as indoors. Kroos and Mariano continued their recovery process behind the scenes.
Elsewhere, we have three Patron episodes this week (Tuesday’s loan-tracker, Wednesday’s post-game show, and Thursday’s discussion between Kiyan Sobhani and Lucas Navarrete). Make sure you’re subscribed. Tomorrow is the last day to get two months free when you sign up for an annual membership.
Also, check it out — we have masks now!
