Alvaro Odriozola, Real Madrid’s right back who was on loan to Bayern Munich for half the season, is back in training at Valdebebas. While other loanees like Dani Ceballos and Borja Mayoral are passing through before they go back out on loan (or sold), Odriozola is likely to stick around as Real Madrid’s back-up right-back next season.
Odriozola completed his session alongside Mariano Diaz today, on a separate pitch from the rest of the team.
Zinedine Zidane trained his team across various pitches at Real Madrid City today, and had his players focus on physical exercises before jumping into ball work (dribbling, passing accuracy) and tactical drills. Zidane concluded the session with an intense scrimmage. Again, today’s session — the fourth of the week — was vigorous, as these preseason trainings usually are.
