Real Madrid take on Valladolid in what will be their first home game of the young 2020-2021 La Liga season. Los Blancos are coming off two decent performances against Real Sociedad and Betis, but they also struggled in those two games. That’s why Zidane’s men will surely try to improve and make a statement today.
The French coach won’t be able to rely on Toni Kroos, who suffered an injury last Saturday. On the other hand, Marcelo and Marco Asensio are back with the team and seem to be ready to play, although it’s likely that none of them starts given that they probably need to improve their form and conditioning.
Madrid are a much better team than Valladolid and should be expected to earn a fairly comfortable win. That said, it would also be great if Los Blancos could show some life on the offensive side of the pitch.
