Real Madrid wonder kid Vinicius Junior talked to the team’s official website and discussed the current pre-season two weeks ahead of Madrid’s season opener against Real Sociedad.

“We’ve all done some work at home and that’s why it’s a bit easier now. We have to suffer a bit now in order to win during the season. [Physical trainer] Grégory always has good ideas so that we can be in good shape because we will play good football when we have the ball,” explained Vinicius, who always takes his physical training very seriously.

“Yes, I’m feeling very well. As I said, I worked at home before returning to training and I’m very focused on my pre-season because it’s crucial for the campaign and it’s where we have to work so hard so that we don’t have injuries during the season,” he added.

Real Madrid conquered the 2019-2020 Liga title and while the club has not made any significant signings other than Martin Odegaard’s return to the team after his loan deal, Vinicius believes Madrid can compete for all three trophies.

“Our goal has to be winning everything so that we can put Real Madrid in the best possible spot. We will go hard after La Liga, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey. Our players are always focused and I hope we can keep winning,” concluded the young player.

Vinicius will be hoping to increase his minutes in the upcoming season. The Brazilian wonder kid has always been an exciting prospect yet his importance during Madrid’s run for the title after the pandemic was not as crucial as some fans and analysts expected.
