Yes, this is not exactly ground-shattering news, but it is confirmation on something we already figured: Real Madrid will update this season’s jerseys by adding a patch which illustrates their record 34 La Liga titles.
The patch will be worn for every single La Liga game in the upcoming season, starting with the team’s season opener against Real Sociedad on September 20th.
Per Real Madrid’s official website:
The patch will be sewn on to the right sleeve of the jersey and measures 3.5cm, displaying the 19/20 season in reference to Real Madrid’s championship-winning campaign. The emblem was launched by LaLiga just two years ago as a way of drawing attention to the excellence, prestige and overall quality of the competition.
