Real Madrid have published their squad list for Saturday’s home match against Celta Vigo.
REAL MADRID SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Altube.
Defenders: Carvajal, E. Militão, R. Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola and F. Mendy.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Valverde, Ødegaard and Isco.
Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Lucas V., Jović, Vini Jr. and Mariano.
The list doesn’t feature team captain and undisputed starter Sergio Ramos, who didn’t train with the rest of the squad this Friday. Ramos is not injured as was feeling a bit sick today, according to reports.
With Ramos missing the game, coach Zinedine Zidane will have to rely on either Eder Militao or Nacho Fernandez for the starting spot alongside Varane. Ramos’ absence has hurt Madrid every time he’s not been with the team, so while Los Blancos should have the tools to get the win and bounce back from their disappointing draw against Elche, it won’t be an easy task considering how well Celta have played so far this season.
