Stade Rennais midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has talked in an interview for Canal Football Club, where he was asked about the rumors suggesting that Real Madrid are interested in his signing. While Camavinga stayed calm, it’s clear that he feels honored to be one of the targets to potentially upgrade the roster in the near future.
“It’s clear that it’s great when a big club has interest in you, but I’m calm and I’m a Stade Rennais player. We’ll see what happens when the season ends, we’ll have a meeting and discuss the pros and cons,” said Camavinga.
Camavinga’s contract with the French club expires in the summer of 2022, so it would seem that he could leave this next summer if Stade Rennais don’t want to lose him as a free agent. Madrid certainly had interest, but will they be able to afford such a signing in the current financial situation?
