Real Madrid face Athletic Bilbao in the 2021 Spanish Supercup Semifinal, a single-elimination game which will decide who faces FC Barcelona in the Final on Sunday. Barça beat Real Sociedad in a penalty shoot-out last night after a brilliant performance from goalkeeper Ter Stegen.

Madrid are defending the title they conquered against Atletico de Madrid a year ago. That tournament in Saudi Arabia gave the team a huge boost of confidence and momentum and Los Blancos need more of the same this time around.

Zidane’s men will try to bounce back from the disappointing 0-0 draw against Osasuna and need as many wins and trophies as they can get now that the race for La Liga title seems to be tough given Atleti’s consistency.

Dani Carvajal is still out and while he could feature in the Final if Madrid go through tonight, Lucas Vazquez will likely start as the right-back against Athletic.
