Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic had a wonderful return to his former club Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring a brace off the bench and giving his team the win against Schalke in the 30 minutes he played.

Jovic then talked to the press and discussed his performance.

“It’s an amazing feeling with the win and the two goals I scored. I couldn’t have imagined a better comeback. I hope this is just the start and that the best is yet to come, I want to thank the fans for their support,” said Jovic.

Jovic’s loan deal with Frankfurt expires next summer, so Madrid will be hoping to see more performances like this one from him so that he can gain confidence and relevant minutes.

Then, Los Blancos will have to make a decision about Jovic’s future and whether or not coach Zinedine Zidane is ready to give him the minutes he needs to keep developing and making progress so that he’s able to make an impact.
