Real Madrid have published their squad list for Wednesday’s away match against Alcoyano in the first leg of the Copa del Rey Round of 32.

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Altube.

Defenders: E. Militão, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola, F. Mendy and Chust.

Midfielders: Kroos, Casemiro, Valverde, Isco and Blanco.

Attackers: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Lucas V., Vini Jr. and Mariano.

Sergio Ramos, Varane and Luka Modric will get some rest in this game, while Dani Carvajal hasn’t rejoined the squad in training yet and will likely miss not only the match against Alcoyano but also the one against Alaves. Odegaard is also out.

Coach Zidane will likely use this first leg to make some rotations and give minutes to some young players like Militao, Lunin, Vinicius or Valverde. Odriozola will likely feature in the right flank of the defensive line as well.

All in all, Madrid are the heavy favorites to win the game and also advance to the Round of 16 after the return leg, but Zidane will likely want to see some encouraging signs from his reserves and not only a routine victory.
