Real Madrid host Celta Vigo and they’ll do so without team captain and defensive leader Sergio Ramos. Ramos didn’t train with the squad on Friday and wasn’t included in the team’s squad list for the game. Militao is the most likely candidate to replace him in the starting lineup.
Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois, Carvajal, Varane, Militao, Mendy, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Hazard, Vazquez, Benzema.
Celta Vigo predicted XI: Blanco; Mallo, Araujo, Murillo, Olaza; Tapia; Mendez, Suarez, Nolito; Aspas, Mina.
Hazard could return to the starting XI after getting his first minutes off the bench against Elche. Madrid need to bounce back from the draw they got on Wednesday but Celta have been a strong team so far this season. Furthermore, Los Blancos have struggled defensively every time Ramos wasn’t available, so Militao and Varane will have to be very careful defending Iago Aspas if Real Madrid want to get the three points.
