Real Madrid host Celta Vigo in what will be the first match of the year for both sides. Los Blancos want to bounce back from their disappointing 1-1 draw against Elche on Wednesday while Celta have been playing quality football during the first half of the season and are currently eighth in the table.

Madrid will be without captain and defensive leader Sergio Ramos, who didn’t train with the squad on Friday with an illness. Ramos will likely be replaced by Militao in the starting lineup, but Nacho is also a candidate considering how well he played early this season.

Other than that, this could be Hazard’s first start after recovering from his injury. The Belgian star has not made an impact for Madrid ever since he left Chelsea in the summer of 2019, so it’s time for him to prove his worth and show that he can perform like a €100 million-caliber player.
