Real Madrid’s visit to Alcoyano is expected to be a manageable one. Coach Zinedine Zidane has decided not to include Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric and Raphael Varane in the squad list for today’s game, so Madrid will make some rotations.

Alcoyano predicted XI: Jose Juan, Jordan, Raul, Solbes, Carbonell, Rubio, Jony, Juanan, Juli, Jona, Mourad.

Real Madrid predicted XI: Lunin, Odriozola, Militao, Nacho, Marcelo, Casemiro, Valverde, Isco, Vinicius, Asensio, Mariano.

Reserves like Odriozola, Militao, Marcelo, Valverde, Asensio or Mariano will be hoping to make a big impact tonight so that they can show Zidane that they can be trusted in bigger games.

It would be great for Madrid to earn a convincing win in this first leg so that Zidane can still rotate his squad when Alcoyano visit the Estadio Alfredo di Stefano for the return leg, given how busy the schedule is going to get for Los Blancos in the next few weeks.
