Real Madrid have published a medical report about midfielder Fede Valverde, who suffers a groin injury which could keep him out for at least two weeks.

Following tests carried out today on Fede Valverde by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he’s been diagnosed with a muscle injury to the adductor longus muscle in his right thigh. His recovery will be monitored.

As always, Real Madrid decided not to reveal the extent of the injury, but these muscle issues are always very tricky and the groin is no exception.

Valverde is joining Sergio Ramos, Carvajal and Rodrygo on Madrid’s injury report, so it won’t be easy for the coaching staff to manage the squad during the next few weeks. Odegaard is also on the verge of signing for Arsenal on a loan deal, which means that Isco is now Madrid’s only available backup midfielder available. Casemiro, Kroos and Modric will have to stay healthy.
