Real Madrid have published their squad list for Saturday’s away match against Alaves. Los Blancos will be a bit shorthanded after Valverde’s injury, given that Carvajal, Ramos and Nacho will also miss the game.

REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Altube.

Defenders: E. Militão, R. Varane, Marcelo, Odriozola, F. Mendy and Chust.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Isco and Blanco.

Attackers: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Lucas V., Vini Jr. and Mariano.

Madrid will try to bounce back from the abysmal loss to Alcoyano in the Copa del Rey’s Round of 32 and also the defeat to Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish Supercup Semifinal. La Liga leaders Atletico de Madrid are taking care of business so far, so all Madrid can do is trying to score three points consistently so that they can capitalize when Simeone’s men drop points.

It’s time for Madrid to step up if they truly want to compete for the title.
