You’re reading that right — Real Madrid only have one central midfielder in the squad for the Champions League match vs. Breidablik, with coach David Aznar declining to call up any youth players for those positions like in past weeks.

While one can never guess what Aznar will truly do, it feels all but certain that Claudia Florentino will play in midfield again. Whether that happens in front of a back three for the third time in a row remains to be seen.

Las Blancas host Breidablik at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium tomorrow (Wednesday) at 3:00 pm EST.
