Squad List

GK: Misa, Méline Gérard

DEF: Kenti Robles, Babett Peter, Ivana Andrés, Olga Carmona, Claudia Florentino, Marta Corredera, Lucía Rodríguez, Rocío Gálvez

MID: Maite Oroz, Claudia Zornoza, Dana Benítez

FWD: Nahikari García, Lorena Navarro, Caroline Møller Hansen, Athenea del Castillo, Carla Camacho, Paula Partido

Absences: Kosovare Asllani (ligament injury), Malena Ortíz Cruz (recovering from long-term injury), Teresa Abelleira (ankle injury), Aurélie Kaci (injury), Marta Cardona (meniscus injury), Esther González (abductor injury)

Real Madrid still have quite a few missing players going into Sunday’s match vs. Athletic Bilbao. As was reported by Mayca Jiménez of AS, Esther has not been included in the squad due to abductor problems, joining attackers Marta Cardona and Kosovare Asllani in the medical room.

In response, David Aznar has called up Carla Camacho and Paula Partido from the youth ranks, in addition to Dana Benítez, who will add some much needed depth in midfield.

The good news is that Ivana Andrés will be an option for Aznar, which was not a given after she went off at halftime vs. Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid only have 1 point in 12 to start the league season and absolutely have to win tomorrow if they are to begin the long comeback.
