Real Madrid have published their squad list for Sunday’s early game against Espanyol.
REAL MADRID SQUAD:
Goalkeeper: Courtois, Lunin and Luis López.
Defenders: E. Militão, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho and Miguel.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Valverde, Lucas V. and Camavinga.
Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Jović, Vini Jr. and Rodrygo.
Marco Asensio and Isco Alarcon will be missing the game with small physical problems they picked up during today’s training session. Mendy is also out and so is Marcelo, so coach Carlo Ancelotti will have to trust either Miguel or Nacho for that spot.
Real Madrid desperately need to bounce back from the disappointing loss against Sheriff. Furthermore, Los Blancos will be trying to regain some momentum and confidence ahead of the FIFA break, because their schedule will get tougher after that two-week hiatus, with games against Athletic Bilbao and El Clasico coming up.
Ancelotti will not be expected to make any rotations ahead of this upcoming FIFA break.
