Real Madrid announce squad for El Clasico against Barcelona

Real Madrid have published their squad list for the crucial El Clásico against Barcelona, which will be played this Sunday.

REAL MADRID LINE-UP:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Luis López.

Defenders: Carvajal, E. Militão, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Marcelo and Mendy.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Valverde, Lucas V., Camavinga and Blanco.

Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr., Rodrygo and Mariano.

As expected, Dani Carvajal and Eden Hazard are back with the team, but coach Carlo Ancelotti admitted during today's pre match press conference that they should not be expected to start after missing the last handful of games.

Other than that, Ancelotti will be relieved to have Benzema with the team, given that he missed the last few training sessions after the knock he picked up against Shakhtar.
