Osasuna manager Arrasate: “Vinicius is surely one of the most destabilizing players in LaLiga”

Osasuna manager Jagoba Arrasate gave some insight into Vinicius’ current form ahead of his club’s match with Real Madrid on Wednesday (via MARCA).

“He is surely one of the most destabilizing players in LaLiga. He is in a great moment, with a lot of confidence. He has the capacity to overflow, generate situations by himself and is scoring.”

Vinicius is currently tied in the top five for most goals scored in LaLiga this season. He has netted five goals and two assists in just under 10 matches played. He is playing to the level many expected he would when Real Madrid made the €45 million transfer for him from Flamengo in 2018.

Arrasate also spoke on Osasuna’s success away from home this season and the momentum carrying into playing at a historic stadium such as the Bernabeu.

“In these fields, normally, the statistics are usually unfavorable because you talk about a rival that is very powerful. We know that we have to do almost everything well but we are looking forward to the illusion that things are going well for us away from home. If we make a perfect, round match, we will surely have some option. And we clung to that.”
