Luka Modric was a last-minute absence from Real Madrid’s match against Osasuna on Wednesday night, as he pulled out late due to fatigue.

The team missed his presence in midfield, but will welcome him back for this weekend’s match against Elche, though it’s unclear whether or not the Croatian will play the full 90.

Modric, who complained in the last training session that he had pain in the back of his right leg, trained normally with the team at Valdebebas today.

Isco, who has missed out on the last few matchday squads, also trained normally today, and should be back in the squad for this weekend.

Still absent and recovering are Gareth Bale, Dani Ceballos, and Fede Valverde. All three of those players worked inside of the facilities at Valdebebas.

Ancelotti had the players who played heavy minutes against Osasuna focus on recovery work, while the rest of the group did intense physical training.
