Brazil National Team manager Tite has named his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers Brazil faces against Colombia and Argentina.
Brazil, who have ripped through qualifiers in dominant fashion, will play on November 12th against Colombia, then on the 16th against Argentina.
Of the Real Madrid contingent, only Eder Militao and Casemiro made the list. Of course, Marcelo and Rodrygo have not been called up consistently and it’s not a surprise that they were not in the list, but one surprise from Tite’s squad is that Vinicius Jr, who’s been in great form for his club this season, has not been called up.
All things considered, it’s probably a good thing for Real Madrid fans that Vinicius gets to stay back home and not have to travel to South America for what will surely be two physically-gruelling games against Colombia and Argentina. Vinicius, to be fair, has also not displayed the same form for Brazil as he has for Real Madrid.
