Today we face the biggest team in Barcelona, Espanyol. 9th place Cirque du Soleil act, Barcelona, went up against the current league champions in Atletico Madrid. And they lost. This is only but a part of their karma for their treatment of Suarez and Umtiti.

Asensio, Isco & Mariano are out with injuries. For players who don’t play often, it’s kinda annoying when this happens. Leaving Ancelotti with just 19 players for today’s game.

I remember when Frenkie de Jong was the biggest thing in football at 21 as on his was from Ajax to Barca. All that hype is gone and it doesn’t seem like he’s gotten any better nor has he done anything significant in barca’s midfield. IMO, he’s not the problem, just that barca’s system doesn’t permit for full expression from majority of it’s players. Rakitic, Malcolm etc all went through the same thing where they looked good the first few months/first year but quickly fizzled out into nothingness. Who else from 3 years back was thier hype bigger than their reality today?
