Real Madrid have had a huge change in their squad makeup coming off the international break. Central midfielders Teresa and Maite and striker Esther have returned from various injuries and are available for selection. This is a huge boost for Aznar, who has been fielding center-back Claudia F. in midfield, which has produced mixed results at best.

Asllani, Kaci, and Cardona have been out for awhile but are joined by Misa, Athenea, and Ivana. The latter three have no injuries (that we are aware of) and have instead been quarantined after the national team recorded some positive COVID-19 tests. This is despite Misa, Athenea, and Ivana all getting negative results, meaning that Madrid are being extra careful in this instance.
