Real Madrid legend Jose Maria Gutierrez ‘Guti’ talked to the press very briefly during a La Liga event in Turkey. Guti, who is now aun unemployed coach after his tenure in Almeria, said that he would like to coach his lifelong club in the future.

“My dream is to coach Real Madrid, but if an offer from Turkey comes my way, then why not? I would like to coach, but I couldn’t coach Fenerbahce or Galatasaray, I would reject their offers if they send one, I just can’t accept coaching them,” said Guti.

Guti was thought to be one of the candidates to coach Real Madrid in the past, given the success he had with the club’s Juvenil team in the Youth League and also in the league. However, his reputation as a coach isn’t as good as it once was, so he might need to succeed in another club before he can be in the club’s shortlist to be the coach.
