The attacker had to leave the game during the second half and it looks like he has picked up yet another muscle injury.

Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard suffered a muscle injury during Belgium’s loss to France in the Semifinals of the UEFA Nations League. Hazard completed a solid performance but was forced to leave the game on the 75h minute.

Belgium coach Roberto Martinez talked to the press after the game and said the following when asked about Hazard:

“I don’t know what happened, we have to pay attention to the extent of the injury, maybe it is just a knock, we will see over the next 24 hours,” said Martinez.

All things considered and given Hazard’s recent history with injuries, it’s likely that the attacker returns to Madrid before the end of the FIFA break to get tests on this injury and potentially get the treatment he needs to recover.

Stay tuned for more news about Hazard’s injury, which could keep him out of Madrid’s squad for the next few weeks if the muscle injury is confirmed.
