Inter Milan have decided to upgrade their offensive line in the winter transfer window with two signings and they will try to make Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic one of them, according to a report published today on La Gazzetta Dello Sport. Cagliari’s Nathan Nandez would be the second signing for the neroazzurri, per that same report.
However, La Gazzetta also mentions that Inter would need to get rid of Alexis Sánchez’s contract before improving their roster, so moving the attacker would be their top priority when the transfer window opens.
Jovic was hoping to get more minutes for Madrid so far this season, but the truth is that he hasn’t started a single game, so he’s definitely an expendable player for coach Carlo Ancelotti. Still, if Jovic leaves the club in the winter Ancelotti will be forced to trust either Mariano or a winger like Rodrygo or Asensio to replace Benzema if the Frenchman has to miss any games.
