Squad List

GK: Misa, Méline Gérard

DEF: Kenti Robles, Babett Peter, Ivana Andrés, Olga Carmona, Claudia Florentino, Marta Corredera, Lucía Rodríguez, Rocío Gálvez

MID: Claudia Zornoza, Dana Benítez

FWD: Nahikari García, Lorena Navarro, Caroline Møller Hansen, Athenea del Castillo, Carla Camacho, Paula Partido

Absences: Kosovare Asllani (ligament injury), Malena Ortíz Cruz (recovering from long-term injury), Teresa Abelleira (ankle re-injury), Aurélie Kaci (injury), Maite Oroz (injury), Marta Cardona (meniscus injury), Esther González (abductor injury)

Youth player Carla Camacho returns to the eleven for Sunday’s encounter vs. Eibar after being dropped for goalkeeper Sofía against WFC Zhytlobud-1 Kharkiv.

It is unsurprising that Maite Oroz is out after getting injured in the build-up to the Champions League match midweek. Managing Madrid has been told that she’ll unavailable for approximately 3-4 weeks.

Teresa has also re-injured her ankle and will probably be absent for a month.

Thus, expect for center-back Claudia Florentino to be deployed in midfield again, though it remains to be seen whether she’ll play in a double pivot or as an attacking interior like she did vs. Kharkiv.
