Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior continued his series of interviews by featuring in TNT’s Esporte Interativo. Vinicius was asked about the reports on the Spanish press suggesting that Madrid will offer him a contract extension with a significant salary raise very soon.

“They haven’t said anything but I am really calm because there’s still a long time before my contract expires. Of course I want to sign an extension, of course I want to stay in Madrid for many years but I am really calm now. My current contract is the one I signed when I was 16 years old. When that extension happens doesn’t matter, my salary doesn’t matter, all I care about is that I’m playing for the world’s biggest club,” said Vinicius.

The attacker will certainly be rewarded soon, even if his current contract expires in 2024. He has become an undisputed starter for Real Madrid and one of the leaders offensively, so it makes sense for Madrid to offer him a new deal and show that Vinicius’ hard work to improve as a player hasn’t gone unnoticed.
