Big news for the attacker.

Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes has avoided a serious injury and will only miss the team’s next two games, according to a report published today on AS. The Brazilian attacker will use the upcoming FIFA break to improve his form and make sure to heal and recover properly from the hamstring issues he picked up during Madrid’s visit to Elche, where he was forced to leave the game.

This is great news for both Real Madrid and Rodrygo, given that the attacker had established himself as the undisputed starter on the team’s right wing in recent games. The winger was seen quite devastated when leaving the pitch on Saturday, but luckily enough he should be back fairly soon.

In his absence, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vazquez and Eden Hazard will be competing for the starting job on the right wing, with Asensio likely having the edge given that Hazard is not all that comfortable on that flank.
