Real Madrid have published their squad list for Wednesday’s clash against Shakhtar in the 2021-2022 UEFA Champions League Group Stage.

REAL MADRID SQUAD LIST:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Fuidias.

Defenders: Carvajal, E. Militão, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Marcelo, F. Mendy and Miguel.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Lucas V., Isco, Camavinga and Blanco.

Attackers: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Jović and Vini Jr.

As expected, Karim Benzema is back with the team after missing the team’s last match against Elche. On the other hand, both Mariano and Rodrygo, who started on Saturday, are out of the list and won’t be available.

Marco Asensio will likely be the player replacing Rodrygo on the right side of the team’s offensive line, with Vinicius and Benzema leading the offense. However, Ancelotti could also start Lucas Vazquez on the right wing with Carvajal returning to the right-back spot.

This should be a manageable game for Los Blancos, but the same was said when they hosted Sheriff Tiraspol last month, so Ancelotti’s men will have to take care of business and earn the three points.
