CONFIRMED lineups: Real Madrid vs Shakhtar, 2021 Champions League

Real Madrid have published their starting lineup for the upcoming home match against Shakhtar in the Champions League Round of 16.

Real Madrid starting XI: Courtois, Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Mendy, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Lucas Vazquez, Vinicius, Benzema.

Shakhtar starting XI (TBC): Pyatov, Dodo, Santos, Matvienko, Ismaily, Maycon, Stepanenko, Tete, Solomon, Patrick, Fernando.

As expected, Ancelotti has decided to start Lucas Vazquez on the right side of the offensive line now that Rodrygo is out with an injury. Asensio also had a chance to start but Ancelotti chose Vazquez. Karim Benzema is back with the team after missing last Saturday’s trip to face Elche.
