Florian Plettenberg, chief reporter for SPORT1, tweeted today that Real Madrid and German international midfielder Toni Kroos has been linked to Liverpool Football Club and Manchester City. Plettenberg spoke to Kroos’s agent Volker Struth on the reporter’s podcast. Struth told Plettenberg that he thinks that Kroos will end his career with Real Madrid.

“I think that Toni will end his career [at] Real Madrid,” said Volker on the podcast. “He hasn’t told me in any phone call that he would like to leave. He and his family are very happy in Madrid.”

Kroos quote-tweeted Plettenberg’s tweet in which the reporter detailed this information which can be seen below.

Kroos has been with Los Blancos since he first signed in 2014 for 25 million euros. He has since won La Liga, the Spanish Super Cup and the UEFA Super Cup twice, the UEFA Champions League three times, and the FIFA Club World Cup four times.
