Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos wants to join Betis this winter transfer window, according to a report published on AS. The midfielder hasn’t recovered yet from the ankle injury he suffered during the Tokyo Olympics, but he went to see the Sevilla Derby this past weekend and is keen on leaving Madrid as soon as this winter knowing that he will not be a relevant player for Ancelotti, per that same report.
In this context, Betis are making some moves to make sure that they have the money needed to sign Ceballos. They will also try to get rid of some other players in order to get their contracts off the books, as Ceballos will require a big contract.
Ceballos has received interest from other clubs but only wants to join Betis. This could be problematic if the Andalusian side can’t make the moves they need to gain flexibility in the market, as Madrid should not be expected to let Ceballos leave without a transfer fee.
