Five Real Madrid Femenino players called up to the Spanish Women’s National Team

Five Las Blancas players were called up to the Spanish Women’s National Team on Thursday. Misa, Marta Corredera, Ivana Andrés, Marta Cardona and Maite Oroz join the national team to try to qualify for the EURO Championship.

The Spanish Women’s National Team hopes to close out qualification with two wins and automatic qualification for the EUROS with a first place finish in Group D. On Thursday Feb. 18, Spain with take on Azerbaijan away from home at 17:00 CET (11:00 am EST).

Spain hosts Poland in La Ciudad del Fútbol on Tuesday Feb. 23 at 19:00 CET (1:00 am EST) to close out qualifying.

The 24 players called up will meet at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas on Monday Feb. 15 before traveling to Azerbaijan for the first match.
