Zinedine Zidane has expressed his concern at the number of injuries being suffered by Real Madrid this season.
Speaking on the injury plague in his press conference on Saturday, he said: “It’s not bad luck. We’re worried about this and I’ve spoken about it a lot. We don’t like not having our players available. We’re getting Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez back and we want to get the others back soon.”
On Eden Hazard’s situation, he said: “He’s already back on the pitches and doing well. We hope he can work with the rest of the team next week.”
The match this weekend against Valencia is one against a side who beat Real Madrid 4-1 earlier in the season. On that, Zidane said: “We have good energy and this is a good chance to prove what we can do. The players are very committed and ready."
