Real Madrid have published a medical report on defender Dani Carvajal, who had to leave Sunday’s match against Valencia with an injury on his thigh.

Following tests carried out on our player, Dani Carvajal, by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in his right thigh affecting the tendon. His recovery will continue to be assessed.

Carvajal will need to miss around two months with this injury and therefore he is ruled out for the upcoming clash against Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

Odriozola is also out right now and Lucas Vazquez will be expected to start going forward, although the situation could change when either Militao or Ramos come back from their own injuries, given that coach Zidane could deploy Nacho on the right side of the defensive line as soon as he has more central defenders available.
