Paris Saint-Germain will not let striker Kylian Mbappe leave the club next summer for less than €200 million if the attacker keeps refusing to sign an extension with the French club, according to a report from Le Parisien.
Mbappe would become a free agent in the summer of 2022 if he rejects PSG’s next offers, so his club would be forced to sell him next summer if they don’t want him to leave for free a year later.
Still, €200 million is a huge transfer fee in the current financial situation and Real Madrid might just not have the money to afford such a deal with PSG, so it’s likely that Los Blancos ask Mbappe to stay put and wait one more year in order to make things a bit easier.
Even if it seems that Mbappe is willing to join Real Madrid eventually, it won’t be easy for the club to make it happen in this context, so it will be interesting to see if the French attacker ends up leaving his club or not.
